“The Image Makers”
 a Photography Exhibit at the
Mid-Westchester Jewish Community Center

Exhibit Handlist and Sales

The Westchester Photographic Society will be exhibiting select works by its members at the Mid-Westchester Jewish Community Center in Scarsdale from October 15 through November 28. The exhibit, titled  “The Image Makers,” presents works that portray a wide range of subjects and techniques, including nature, landscape, portrait, still life, and abstract images in both black and white and color. Members use both film and digital media for their works. Most works on display may be purchased. Representative works from past exhibits in "The Image Makers" series may be viewed at www.studiolo.org/WPS/PR/index.htm.

The Mid-Westchester Jewish Community Center (JCC) is located at 999 Wilmot Rd., Scarsdale, opposite the Golden Horseshoe Shopping Center. Telephone: (914) 472-3300. The JCC is open Mon - Th: 8:30am – 9:45pm, Fri: 8:30am – 5:00pm and Sun: 9:00am – 7:00pm. It is closed on Saturday

 The Westchester Photographic Society is the oldest and largest camera club in Westchester County. Membership is open to all photography enthusiasts, from beginners to professionals who work in black and white and color prints, slides, and digital/computer imaging. WPS meets every Friday evening at 8 PM (twelve months per year, except on school holidays and weather-related closings) in the Technology Building of Westchester Community College in Valhalla, NY. Meetings are wide-ranging and feature programs that include presentations by experts, workshops, demonstrations, model shoots, member showcases, critiques and monthly competitions. A darkroom is available to members. Club activities also include organized field trips/photo shoots. Guests are welcome.
