The Westchester Photographic Society will be exhibiting select works by its members at the Hiram Halle Public Library in Pound Ridge, from Wednesday, September 7, through Friday, September 30. This exhibit, another in the continuing series entitled  “The Image Makers,” displays works that portray a wide range of subjects and techniques, including nature, landscape, portrait, still life, abstract and digitally enhanced images in both black and white and color. Most works on display may be purchased.

The Hiram Halle Library is located at the intersection of Routes 124 and 137 in the Hamlet of Pound Ridge. Telephone: (914) 764-5085. Library hours are set as follows:

Tuesday - 10:00am to 8:00pm -- Wednesday - 1:00pm to 5:00pm -- Thursday and Friday - 10:00am to 5:00pm -- Saturday - 10:00am to 3:00pm  The Library is closed Sunday and Monday.

The Westchester Photographic Society is the oldest and largest camera club in Westchester County. Membership is open to all photography enthusiasts, from beginners to professionals who work in black and white and color prints, slides, and digital/computer imaging. WPS meets every Friday evening at 8:00pm in the Technology Building of Westchester Community College in Valhalla, NY -- twelve months per year, except on school holidays and weather-related closings. Meetings are wide-ranging and feature programs that include presentations by experts, workshops, demonstrations, model shoots, member showcases, critiques and monthly competitions.
